Afghani Antique Silver Amulet

High grade silver amulet with fused ends, late 19th century, Afghanistan. It features a central panel of hammered decorative work and end beads of red resin, which are vintage but not original to the piece, and indicate that the amulet either came from the direction of Uzbekistan or passed through Uzbeki hands. The dangles are original to the amulet and feature matching handmade fused chain. An original tribal piece collected in Afghanistan by my father in the 1980’s.

Measurements: length 5.5 cm, diameter 1.8 cm, height including dangles 6 cm, weight 26.15 g
