The figure appears inspired by Verrocchio's famous Putto with a Dolphin, made around 1470 and now in Florence's Palazzo Vecchio. The bell bears an \"800\" silver fineness mark inside the rim, along with a second, indistinct maker's \u003cmeta charset=\"utf-8\"\u003emark.
