  • Antique Pair Of Multan Enamel Silver Bracelets

Beautiful and very rare pair of antique Multan hinged cuffs.

From the city of Multan in the Sindh Punjab region of Pakistan, famed for its rich tradition of enamel work. Bought by Kashgar store founder Bernard Heaphy on his travels in the 1980’s.

This is a heavy pair of bracelets. Hollow construction silver enameled in dark blue, turquoise and coral shades, hinged with their original silver pins and hexagonal mirab-style terminal points, this pair of bracelets is unique and a collector’s item.

Dating to the 19th century, these beautiful bracelets are very wearable antique tribal jewelry.

We have seen nothing else of this age available for sale to compare with these cuffs.

Measurements: Diameter of cuff approx 1cm.  Inside circumference approximately 14 cm. Weight 109.9 g
