Leaf shaped amulet pendant depicting Shiva in his form as Bheru (also called Bhairava), as depicted by the Bhil people of northern India who generally show him in motion with a dog at his feet. This amulet dates to the early 20th century or late 19th century and has its original double bail in place, which is very worn (see picture) but will easily support a chain or cord. From northern India. Very high grade silver.
