Ethiopian Triptych

From the Lalibela region of northern Ethiopia, this is a hand painted triptych designed to sit on top of a processional staff. The images are of the Virgin Mary and Child, with accompanying saints.

This is a contemporary piece, approximately 20 years old. Old pieces are impossible to find and are never released for sale.

Measurements: height 24 cm, width when closed 11.5 cm, width when opened 15 cm.
