We've created a beautiful necklace from sea green vintage Afghani serpentine and incised vintage Naga shell beads, highlighted with sterling silver spacer beads and a sterling silver hook clasp. Designed to be worn as a short necklace, our tribal inspiration is simply beautiful.
Our Naga shell beads were collected by Kashgar Bernard Heaphy back in the 1980's, and were bought out of Nepal.
Afghan serpentine is often called Afghan jade in the jewellery trade (although this is not correct stone nomenclature). Its Afghan name is shahmasood.
