    Traditionally made without a clasp, our mala necklace is designed to be slipped over the head.

    Skulls are a particular motif of Buddhism and are designed to remind the wearer that the spirit is everything and the body nothing, and that after physical death, our spirt or soul lives on. They also serve as reminder that we should not become too attached to earthly things and in meditation, the contemplation of the skull allows us to rise above and away from the ego that can cause us so much unhappiness.
