Antique Red Coral & Silver Bead Necklace

A stunning strand of rare, graduated antique red coral from the Himalayas, purchased in northern Thailand from a local antiquities dealer in 2004. The necklace features an antique fluted silver bead as a centrepiece, silver spacers assist in the flow of the necklace around the neck, and a silver clasp.

A very wearable tribal antique coral necklace. Red coral is traditionally believed to ward off the evil eye and is worn for protection.

Measurements: length 42.5 cm (16.5"). The beads range from 5 mm to 10 mm diameter. Weight 48.43g
