Prayer Flags

Buddhist prayer flags, a staple Buddhist accessory. The mantra om mani padme hum a prayer to the Compassionate Buddha Avelokitsvara, is written on each flag along with images of various Buddhas, and every time they fly in the breeze, all the prayers are offered to heaven on your behalf, and on behalf of all mankind, promoting peace, compassion, strength, and wisdom. Hand block printed cotton, from Nepal.

Note that these are the extra long strings of flags (many are only half this in length).

Measurements: a total length of 5 metres, each flag measures 20 x 24 cm
