    A charming vintage deity seat for the placement of your favourite deity statue or any favourite object you wish to display. Hand carved from recycled teak with two horse heads decorating the front and a handy drawer for keeping stuff tucked away. Northern Indian in style.

    This is an old piece dating to the early part of the 20th century. As well as displaying a statue or any other object to advantage, this would make a lovely display stand for plants.

    In India these seats are called pooja mandir, temple seats or shrines, with this low sided style specifically called a mandasana.
