Grief can be complicated, it can be untethered, it can be unexpected, it can be out of world. And until you have experienced it yourself, you cannot imagine just how truly profound it will be.
On Friday 19th May 2023 at 11 am, my beloved dog Phoenix died in my arms. This is the story of our journey together through fourteen and a half wonderful years and my great sorrow at his passing.
